A first release by any netlabel for Berestez, and what can I say? It's such excellent material, it's amazing we haven`t heard anything from him before - subtle, moody, sentimental and stunning. After receiving this EP some days ago, I`ve listened to nothing else. This is the start of some fantastic releases for Kahvi in the future from Berestez.

Subject: smooth... creamy... crunchy... delicious
vaguely alien progressions atop beats that run the gamut from the hip-hop inflected sort to jarring stuck-buffer drills. a gratifying and melodic listen in the tradition of some oft-namedropped Scots.

A stunning release by Berestez. If you`re a Boards of Canada fan this EP is the definition of a tribute. Excellent sounds and feeling create an EP you`ll go back to again and again to listen to.
