Subject: FANTASTIC !
recently i was in my car and wfuv in ny was airing a live concert of kaki with her band and i was quite impressed.i saw some shows up on dime but without seeders and saw a comment that she was here in the archive.i got this one and a recent show.upon listening to this,it's all i hoped for.she's an amazing player and the quality is superb.thanks so much for your efforts.i'm convinced.

Subject: great example
This is a great example of the value of the archive: I was completely unfamiliar with this artist. She was mentioned in a forum discussion about instrumentals on LMA. I looked into her shows, gave a listen, looked at her website, and now I see she's scheduled for my city in the spring.
This is very nice work here, great playing. And it doesn't hurt that the recording is professional quality. This has been subtly edited with easy fades, and this is a super-sounding show--nearly an hour of pure music. Excellent.

Is this the whole show? My copy of the June 10, 2004 (grabbed elsewhere) shows 18 tracks. Thanks

I believe the difference is that the banter for this version is included at beginning/end of tracks. Tough to tell with instrumentals like this sometimes.

Subject: Wow!
The sound quality is incredible. Great performance and an excellent job with the mix on the recordings. By far the best recording of Kaki I have heard.
