I'm amazed at how tight Keller, Gib, Jeff, and Keith are at this stage with Keller's songs. They also have a great mix of early middle and late model year Keller stuff. Thin Mint was great and the jam in People Watching is ferocious. Wasn't able to attend this show but all who were there should relish it. See you boys next month at the Ballroom.

P.S. Ive done up a few Keller tunes on Youtube.com if anyone want to check them out search Byron Soule. Peace.

Subject: This recording blew me away.
Haha, sorry for some of the yells at the beginning. I was trying to liven up the crowd a bit with another guy who had the same idea, during the long wait with them trying to get Kyle's volume down a bit. The bass was turned way high on this one and the crowd was becoming anxious. I had been following the WMDs along, saw them in Fred. and Richmond, at Brown's Island. Drove 600 miles to make, mainly this show. This Keller Williams set started off with Hot Tuna playing a dank set, and then Xavier and his new buddy, which are always killer. Keep on keepin on with those GOOD TIMES!!! By the way, I did not think this concert was going to turn out so amazingly. As always, Keller knows how to pull it through and work with what he has. Much praise.

I'll see you all at the Norva in October 07.

(p.s.--Just for the note, I also originated the article on Keller Williams, over at Wikipedia.)

thanks so much for sharing this great recording. it sounds great and the band's set was really enjoyable to hear since I missed it for ween. i especially liked "doobie in my pocket" ... where kdub ends with "hopefully you've got a doobie in your pocket, but don't forget it before you get on the plane" ... HAH!

By the way, amazing cohesion between KW and the band. The band(WMD's)is:
Gibb Droll-guitar,vocals
Keith Mosely-bass
Jeff Sipe-drums

Cheers mates, well done!

Subject: Good show, great recording
Thank you! Thank you! For putting this show up. It was one of my favorites from Bonnaroo. It starts off kinda slow (probably from the 25-minute delay for the very painful soundcheck). The entire band was visibly frustrated during that, and it took them a while (in my opinion) to really get it going.

But once they hit stride with a fun "Freeker" it became a good ol' dance party like a quality KW show should be!

Other good highlights were the fun jam in "People Watching" and the crowd participation in "Santeria." At one point, the crowd started fading a bit on the lyrics, yet Keller somehow reminded everyone where they were in the song simply by whistling the intonations. It was fun!

Keller with a band is good stuff!
