paul divjakpaul divjak - a glimmer of hope [konkord005] (June 29, 2005)

Repetition and difference. Patterns and plug ins. What takes form is excellent music, and sounds as if it really is. Future Experimental Pop. Paul Divjak shows us, together with musician and producer Hans Platzgumer, the most beautiful side of electronic music... The future is now!

Subject: the repitition is the key
I enjoyed this release. It definitely inspires some deeper listening. What sets it apart is the use of repitition, giving the tracks a growing progressing structure. The overall warmth of the sounds, plus the structure give this release an unusual type of pop appeal, sort of like what your radio might tune it's circuits to when it's not busy playing your music and wants to kick back on a lazy summer afternoon. Overall, good stuff.
