Head of the music label Slide The Needle, John Kale sends bleeps, blips, and bloops, from his bedroom to your eagerly awaiting ears. Growing up through hardcore rock bands to the world of electronic compositions, the Satellite Grooves sound is an amalgam of spacious pads, chill melodies, and analog electronics.
Satellite Grooves is often compared to Morr Music, E*Vax, B. Fleischmann, and possibly our good friend Phasmid. Also make sure and check out SG's debut album 'atoms, molecules, and rain' on Slide The Needle/Skylab Operations. This is spacey-electro-pop at its finest.
