raemus's music explores the relationship between composer and automated composition system. Using personal software created in Max/MSP, tendencies are determined, but musical details are decided by the system in a realtime improvisation. Sp*m Filt_er are a series of works that explore more melodic and harmonic relationships than previous works. Several automated players" explore similar material in different ways. Titles are taken from a series of spam received in winter 2003/2004.
Currently residing in Vancouver, Canada, raemus music has also been released on kolorform records, 2063, and stasisfield.
