pino the frogpino the frog - seed comma axiom [kpu080] ()

Well-known net.label artist pino the frog, with past notable releases on both Nishi and Please Do Something, offers his first Kikapu release in the form of a remarkable EP that is one half originals, and one half remixes. The first half of the release consists of remixes of Carl Kruger originals by pino himself. These tracks are on an experimental plane with hints of ambience flirting around the percussive elements of the tracks. The second half are original tracks which consist of white noise as a starting point, and they delve into fantastically sparse experiments in rhythm and sound placement. Subtlety is the key element here.

Subject: ten io is good
delicate, stretched and slowly progressing. reminds me of floating on my back in the sea, hearing everything from under the surface. um. sort of.
