Sieve's debut Kikapu release is full of grit, dirt under the fingernails; a style that slaps you in the face and wakes you up with a start. This excellent EP's source materials are samples that Sieve originally recorded in 1997, possibly from a Casio toy keyboard, that have been re-recorded and bastardized many times over the years and have finally come to fruition in these tracks. This one isn't for the squeamish.
