file under: dubstep techno, breakbeats, more fun than should be legally possible
Today marks the return of the one and only Winnie The Shit! And he's dropping a full-length album no less! His new album is entitled 'Easy' and is a bit of a more subdued affair than his previous release with us. This new one is at times more mellow, with a heavy focus on dubstep and techno, all while keeping it's eyes squared fixedly on insanely wonderful breakbeats. This will undoubtedly rank up there with one of our best releases ever, and makes a perfect companion to Winnie's first EP, 'Hand Driven Episode.'

Subject: entertaining
I chose to go for this album just for the sake of curiosity (due to the artist's name). Winnie The Shit makes electronic music tending toward fast-paced electro, dubstep and jungle, but cannot be firmly contained in any of these genres. In fact, he likes to contaminate his works with elements of acid, idm cliches and occasionally 8-bit nostalgia ("Edit Philosophy" succeeds fairly well in doing this). It is nothing very original and new, but it is so listenable and smart that I find myself listening to this album fairly often. "Forever in Spaceage Polyester" is one of my faves, but i recommend the whole album.
