so while I totally agree with the overall tone of these reviews, I feel compelled to mention that the onstage miking technique commonly used for Kimock shows - and usually to brilliant effect - actually is not appropriate for vocal performances. The vocals are distant and muffled.
This onstage recording is better than most in this regard. At least Ray's vocals are centered and fairly clear. But they lack definition and tone, and more importantly, it is simply an unrealistic recording in this way.
Now, the instrumental parts - which is all the serious Kimock freaks care about - sound amazing. No argument there. But if, like me, you would like to actually listen to Ray sing, please be warned that the onstage recordings generally fall short in this area. Some more so than others.
I'd still definitely recommend this show. Four star performance, among the finer SK shows I've seen out of 40 or so and definitely one of the best in a "normal" venue. Five star recording on instrumentals. Three star recording on vocal parts. Averages to 4 which seems about right.

KVHW was peaking during this time period. This show manages to stand out amongst the pack. Hands-down best ever versions of Poonk and Hillbillies. Keep a fire extinguisher close by.

There are only 5 tracks here, nothing missing at all. Why would you give it lowest rating without even listening?
1) Good Lovin' Seven >
2) Point Of No Return
3) Tangled Hangers> Hillbillies Meltdown> Tangled Hangers
Second Set
4) You're The One
5) Why Can't We All Just Samba?

..but, when wasn't KVHW that? Whew. Lots of great stuff here. Not sure if my favorite take on the night is Footprints, or the enormous Spring Water. Perhaps the Poonk which is played at a Presto tempo for the majority of its life.
Everything is executed to a T in this show, perhaps a little too much. The You're The One is a bit formulaic (for the period), and they do tend to take their time getting into Slumber. But these things don't detract from what is without a doubt a 5 star show. Sound quality is classy.
One thing about the tracking. d2t4 is You're the One. d2t5 is Samba. The Tangled Hangers is not tracked out (which I think is a good thing), thus making for only five tracks on the second disc. Enjoy!

Kimock's gtr always sounds beautiful, but there's something extra special about this recording.
