Subject: best kimock collaboration i have ever heard
seriously. this whole show just bounces with energy, i have never heard anything kimock has been involved with sound so upbeat and lively. furthermore, jimmy herring is absolutely amazing in this appearance, his rhythm guitar work really adds a unique flow that sets this show apart from most of the other kvhw shows. also, the sound quality is just right, warm and balanced. seriously check it out if you are reading this.

this is the first i've heard KVHW, saw kimock for the first time last year a couple times in new york as steve kimock and friends, once with robert walter i think. unfortunately i missed zero at gathering over the summer. but wow--this is a truly amazing performance with amazing sound. i need more kimock in my life...

Definitely the tightest I've heard them. Super bluesy/funky set. Kimock is on a different level.
Great sound quality - a must for the collection. Thanks again Charlie and Jimmy - great work.

hearing this show brought me back to that night. my first experience with kimock and ohhhhh what a night that was. the ballroom was ragin' old school prankster style. naked senior citizen working the crazy 60's light show on every wall of that venue. and kvhw didn't stop for hours. crazy. thanks archive

Subject: Do your ears a favor..
Check this show out. Once again Kimock and friends don't cease to amaze. Great sound on this one too. If you like what Steve Kimock does in any of the incarnations of his band, you'll like him here too. Talented musicans, well recorded.. thanks yet again Archive.

HADNT HEARD THIS FOR A LONG TIME AND JUST DUG IT OUT.. ABSOLUTELY A GEM AND SWEEEEEEEET SOUND.. MAN ZERO GOT BACK TOGETHER.. DRAG RAY OUT OF THE CLOSET AND ILL GIVE BOBBY MORE MONEY WHATEVER KVHWONDERFUL.

This may be the best show I've ever heard...by anyone, anytime. I saw KVHH at Chester's in FV, AR 5/21/99-5/22/99, and Steve was a madman. He is the same way here. Talking about this show is a waste of time...just download it and listen. And did I mention the source?....CM!!! Thanks Charlie!

Subject: A formidable KVHW gem
Just look at the setlist and source... A warm, buttery recording of a highly charged, barely-controlled outburst of musical electricity. This is among the best KVHW recordings I've heard, if not the best.
