Yuaf son Yolanda Uriz (Navarra) y Ángel Faraldo (Galicia). Su trabajo, fundamentado en la improvisación, combina la riqueza tímbrica de las flautas de Yolanda con las posibilidades de transformación de la electrónica manejada por Ángel. Presentamos el primero de sus trabajos direccionados hacia el registro: grabado en diversos días dentro de la Villa Ockenburg que da nombre al disco, con la compañía de la artista plástica Claudia Ignoto, es un trabajo que varia su habitual praxis para mostrarnos tres composiciones que utilizan su trabajo de improvisación tan solo como base. Tres pistas majestuosas a la par que inquietantes, con un sonido brillante y repleto de matices en constante movimiento.

Yolanda Uriz (flutes) and Ángel Faraldo (live electronics) started playing together in January 2007. Since then, they have been exploring different ways to relate to each other through free improvisation. Currently, they are working in the creation of a bidirectional interactive system, where both could have the same possibilities to influence and control the other's materials. Besides their work in duet, they collaborate frequently with other improvisers in trio and quartet settings (Lynn Cassiers, Orlando Aguilar...).
