Subject: Drawing from the left brain
The core of this lecture is a slew of illustrations showing flow charts with various numbers of vertices, from the mid 60s to current times. It is an inspiration to those who think that the arts and sciences naturally belong together. Don Knuth's manner is both modest and admirable. He obviously loves his field and is generous in crediting those whose work he includes.

Subject: Graphs
Very minimal computer science background required. If one knows what a flowchart is, and what a binary search tree is, one can follow this lecture.
