Holograph, signed
Anne W. Weston describes the arrival of Lord Morpeth and Charles Sumner at their home. Lord Morpeth called on Garrison at the Liberator office and apparently attended the fair. Anne reports on yesterday's proceeds. She attended a colored Elections(?) Class exhibition. "Sumner came here last night & staid [sic] 2 hours. Maria [Weston Chapman] & Caroline [Weston] who both talked with him thought him not a perfect Solomon." John A. Collins reports that the Pennslyvania Freeman has been given up and the National Anti-Slavery Standard is now being taken by the Pennsylvania abolitionists
