Manuscript addressed on verso to "Mr. Wm. Lloyd Garrison, Esqr. Boston, Mass." Manuscript stamped "Paid" and postage is stamped "Brandon. Sept 13 VT."
Orson S. Murray writes William Lloyd Garrison stating that the latter had not acknowledged a letter from him earlier, and invites Garrison to a meeting of the Vermont State Anti-Slavery Society to be held in Montpelier. Murray states that should Garrison find himself unavailable that George Thompson or Charles Stuart would serve as fine speakers in his stead. In a post-script, Murray advises Garrison that the date of the meeting has changed, and urges Garrison to attend
