Thomas Bayley Potter writes to William Lloyd Garrison a letter of introduction for Mr. W. F. Sinclair, of the "East India Civil Service", who is journeying to the United States for "information bearing on his Indian duties". Potter describes Sinclair as a friend of his, and states his obligation to Garrison should he be able to assist Lindair in any way possible
