H. Parmelee forwards to William Lloyd Garrison his balance for his subscription to the Liberator, and states his regrets that the publication is ceasing production. Parmelee asserts that while he and his family will miss the weekly visit of the Liberator, they rejoice in knowing that its aim to rid the nation of "that most cursed of all practices - human slavery" has been accomplished
