Deborah Weston mentions the kindness of Mrs. Ricketson and comments on other abolitionists in New Bedford. Only one notice of the monthly concert of prayer for the slaves was read in church. Deborah is anxious to receive the Liberator newspaper. Deborah wants Anne W. Weston to call at the house of Mrs. Hancock on Beacon Street, [Boston] and ask her to sign the "petition for the district."
