Letter written in pencil
William Lloyd Garrison describes a party held at his house, with Francis Jackson as host. Lizzie Simmons also gave a party. The William Lloyd Garrison Jr.s are planning a party. They have invited about forty guests, chiefly people they met at Osterville. William Lloyd Garrison visited John Greenleaf Whittier and Mrs. Lydia Maria Child. He wishes that Whittier would get himself a set of false teeth. He hopes that Helen Villard's cough has left her. Sarah Southwick has gone to Brookline "to visit her aunt Philbrick."
