William Lloyd Garrison is pleased to hear that Fanny Garrison Villard is recovering from her recent illness. The Boston Herald announced Garrison as one of the guests at the Century Club breakfast for Dean Stanley. Garrison will attend a reception given by the Woman's Club for Lucy Stone. He regrets that Wendell Phillips has written a political tract urging the election of Benjamin Franklin Butler to the governorship of Massachusetts
