Elizabeth Pease Nichol writes the Garrisons informing them that the letter they read will be the last from "Elizabeth Pease", as she is to marry shortly. Nichol informs the Garrisons that although her name will be changing, her heart will not, nor will her devotion to the cause. Nichol informs William Lloyd Garrison that she will mail the marriage announcement to the Liberator for public notice
