Holograph, signed "Your loving Father."
Letter written in pencil
William Lloyd Garrison writes: "The letter of Madame Venturi, enclosed in yours received this morning, fully explains the reasons why she was so desirous of obtaining my 'moral support' in reference to her editorial supervision of The Shield, and her connection with the C.D.A. He tells who came to his Christmas party and tells about the Christmas gifts, particularly mentioning those gifts given by Mr. and Mrs. Villard
