The delivery address is: Wm Lloyd Garrison, No. 25 Cornhill, Boston
James Sloan Gibbons is surprised that William Lloyd Garrison does not approve of the special meeting. Plans are being made for a great meeting of 500 to 700 abolitionists. James C. Jackson is adhering to the New Organization platform. Gibbons writes: "I have conversed with L. M. C. [Lydia Maria Child] who is decidedly of the mind that the call for a special meeting is timely, & will do a great deal of good if we put both hands to work."
