Manuscript addressed from "Anti-Slavery Office Phila"
James Miller M'Kim writes William Lloyd Garrison informing him that he has received Garrison's letter concerning George Thompson, and that he is certain that he would be able to "raise something worth while for this object", but admits that his "growing repugnance to every thing like begging" is detering him. M'Kim states that Robert Purvis gave him the sum of $20, which he encloses to Garrison, along with other funds. M'Kim criticizes the behavior of Parker Pillsbury as "intolerably nauseous", and labels his "affected alarm at our tolerance of the Republican party" ridiculous
