Holograph, signed
Lucretia Mott expresses appreciation of the kindness she received during her visit in Boston. Anna Hopper is pleased with Maria Weston Chapman's readiness to contribute to the anti-slavery fair in Philadelphia. Lucretia Mott mentions especially the present received from "the dear old gentleman---your father." The "Free Produce Meeting" was interesting
In the postscript, Lucretia Mott sends a message to Edmund Quincy to the effect that the remarks of Adin Ballou at the Non-Resistant meeting should be specially noted, rather than Lucretia Mott's remarks
