The fact that the Free Church has been taking money from slave holders in the United States "is causing a wonderful agitation here." Henry C. Wright, who has been here several weeks and has opened people's eyes. Mrs. Mary Welsh acknowledges the receipt of the Standard. Although living in Edinburgh now, Mary Welsh maintains her connection with the Glasgow society
