Manuscript composed upon stationary bearing the typeset letterhead of the Universal Peace Society
Manuscript dated "4th mo. 27. 1867"
Alfred H. Love writes William Lloyd Garrison informing him that the Universal Peace Society will offer to Garrison "any documents that may in thy judgement seem useful", and states that he will mail to Garrison a few copies at hand in order to give him a general idea of their tone and declared principles. Love states that they wish to establish "representation abroad", and to secure "reliable correspondence with the principal foreign countries". Love declares that he has been engaged in "days of work" since their last meeting on the "Indian Subject", and states his desire that Garrison should be present at the New York Meeting the following month
