Featseeker Note: This recording has also been released as a silver under the title "London '77" and careful research was done to confirm that the date and place listed here are correct. The original title "The Fat Man In New Castle" may have been a mistaken reference to two shows performed at Newcastle City Hall in Newcastle, England on 1977/07/26 and 27. This recording is in fact 1977/08/02 Rainbow Theatre London, England with guest performers Tower of Power Horns.

Subject: Scorcher...
As Zippy proclaims...
This show is ripping...
Recently been reading about how the band was regarded by some of the "names" in the business and Mick Taylor appears for the encores. A show in London was a huge success for their career, and you can hear how they feel like they've reached something... which, once reached, needs to be reflected upon... how to sustain it! but as a huge fan of live performances, of all types, this has to be respected!
Don't miss this one! (but then there's probably quite a few in the archive I could say that about, over and over.
Perhaps I should suggest... be safe in the Pandemic!
Stick around so you can enjoy it, and find more!
