Comments by Taper:
John Hall of Orleans fame opened the show. John and his sax player played on All That You Dream and Old Folks Boogie. John and his back up vocalist and drummer sat in on the first encore as well.
* There is a cassette flip in Day at the Dog Races. Matt Smith of Portland and a KBOO-FM DJ did a superb job of cross fading the flip.
^ I used a different brand of tape for the second encore (Scotch C-90) which is why it sounds muddy.
Overall, this is pretty good sounding tape of the band in their prime. It was the only time I ever saw
Lowell George who passed away a little over a year later.

Editor's Comments:
Great sound on this one! Taperpat is too modest. I corrected a large phase offset and removed the close, loud clapper to our taper's right, and a few of his friends. Lots of other little fixes too. No noise reduction was applied. EQ was adjusted slightly for the last track.^
Restoration:
- corrected DC offset errors
- split into 4 tape sides as recorded
- balanced channels for each side
- gain corrections to opening 3 minutes
- repaired clicks, pops, thuds and drop-outs
- repaired 2 instances of Velcro tearing sounds (prior to tape flips)
- global phase offset correction: -0.62 mSec
- removed 11.1 sec repeated segment at original cd-split boundary between tracks 7 and 8
- smoothed tape flip splice at approximately 10:01 of track 08
- patched applause at end of track 15
- slight EQ and lightly decrackled last track^
- joined Sides A+B and C+D
- attenuated loud and close clapping
- restored clipped peaks and gain normalized
- tracked, tagged and packed
