The crackling during "Day At The Dog Races" becomes noticeable at about 2:00 and builds slowly. By 6:00 it's about the same level as the music. By 10:00 the entire signal is badly distorted and you're thinking "Will this continue for the rest of the recording??" Then at 11:59, it's entirely gone.
Otherwise, the sound is fine. It would probably be better to edit the DJs out entirely, rather than leave only snippets of their enthusiastic commentary: "Oh, man, does it get any better than--" Although it's kind of amusing the way the recording keeps cutting them off.

Not a bad show, but the audio is only so-so and as noted in another review, there are some audible glitches in a few areas. Not clear where this recording is from, but there is a mention of it being a "Little Feat Hour" although the announcers apparently were listening live but weren't at the show -- they are taken by surprise by the encore. Check out the 9/19/74 Ultra Sonic Studios performance -- 5 stars for music and sound, or the 10/18/75 Auditorium Theater, Rochester, NY show -- also excellent sound and a very good performance.

Great setlist, great show from the Feat at just about the peak of their career with Lowell. Sound was fine, for its day with a few exceptions. From time to time I heard some static and my download of Day at the Dograces, towards the end of the track, was full of static (for lack of a better term). Was it just my download or did anyone else have this problem??

Recording sounds clear and Band is full of energy. Definitely as good as "Waiting For Columbus" and without being sweetened. Plus
Lowell is on fire!
