I was there! I have seen LF in several incarnations over the years, at many shows, in several venues. This one was the best! The came packin'. Best damn rythem section, each member showed their talent at one moment or another. SHaun Murphy is just spectacular. The Warfield was totally on their feet. A good mix of old and new material. The encore when Sam Clayton came out from behind the congas to join Shaun: They were holding church on saturday night at the Warfield like I've never seen. I think Ratdog was a little intimidated following such an act of fine tuned veterans, however Bobby & Co. delivered a fine set also, ultimately bringing Fred, Paul, and Bill onstage for the encore of their set also (Franklin's). Nice they had Weir come out for a cameo duing Tenessee Jed too. Lot's of great energy in the whole evening at the Rex Benefit that nite. But the Feat shined the most imho.
