I was at this show, and this recording is fuckin' incredible...really good work, man. Nice job with compensating for the loose cable plug, too.

May I ask what type of gear you used to capture the audio for this recording? It sounds like all Hell as if it was a soundboard recording, and my own soundboard recording at the Double Door (of a different show and on MD) came off very poorly.

I'm a budding amateur "historical documentarian of live concerts" (read: bootlegger), and I'm curious how to attain a better quality for my recordings.

Incidentally, I was in the pit with my own gear for this very same New Year's Eve show, and, consequently, I picked up a lot of singin' along and reverb effects and the like, which are typically scant in soundboard recordings, leavin' 'em sounding kinda, I don't know...flat.

Once I dig up my mini-disc of the show I'd love to see what you might be able to accomplish by synchin' up both of our recordings and tweakin' the levels appropriately here and there. I imagine it would be the best of both worlds and sound phenomenal...I just don't know my way around computers well enough to accomplish such a feat.

So lemme know what you think.

Regardless, thanks a ton for sharing this bad-ass recording of a rockin' goddamn show!!!

:)

Pack up the cats in it's entirety is priceless beyond words. This show has made me appreciate the album itself more. The Encore is possibly the best encore/second set ever.

I loved every minute of this performance. This band live is amazing, the recording is great. The honesty and emotion that came across at the show is inspiring. I cant say enough about the integrity of local h.

Quite possibly the most stirring concert I've heard. The 'Pack Up the Cats' album still holds so much power over me, and to hear it played live in it's entirety was beyond words. For those of us who couldn't be there, thank you so much for recording this show. Absolute emotion and faithful perfection.

Notes

^ = Between 1:46 & 2:19, my wire became partially unpluged. This resulted in the left channel being lost. I have patched over the missing left section with the right section. In layman's terms, 33 seconds of the song appears in mono form.

* = Originally Recorded By Britney Spears.

Enjoy one of the greatest shows put forth by Local H.
This performance also marks the only time the band has performed it's masterpiece, "Pack Up The Cats" in it's entirety.

Suffrajett's Jason Chasko is featured on guitar.
