This tasty recording was mixed by Bill Mulvey & that should probably be listed in the info file. He went through great pains to make this one happen for the commmunity at large including running 3 sets of cables the entire length of Mercury Lounge so he could use the onstage mics as there were no lines available in the snake. As to onelson's comment about not being able to hear Logic much of the time, he was hanging back for much of the show & letting all the other players take the reins for the most part. When he plays, you can hear him cutting through just perfectly. I was at this show & this is how it went down. Technically this is not a 'DJ Logic' show anyway--it was a "Ropeadope New Music Seminar Superjam" with no real leader so there you go. A great recording of a great night. Thanks, Bill!!!!

So DJ Logic is often not audible, but I feel that he cuts through when he wants to. Either way, this is a great recording, with exceptional bass response, and the music is incredible. Go ahead and get it and play it loud.

Subject: Logic barely audible
Listened to this whole show today, via headphones, and have to say that while it sounds great, and the other instruments are played well, DJ Logic's turntables are barely there most of the time. He's nowhere near being a lead instrument. The sound would get 4-5 stars, but for a show featuring a DJ, this gets a 3 from me.

This show is indeed hot!

I've been looking for something like this for a while now. Loving the crazy modern jazz with Logic doing his thing. You really can't beat the allstar lineup on this show either.

The sounds quality kicks!

Subject: Non EAC Version
This show is HOT, but wanted to state that there is a non-EAC'd version of this transfer. Check into it!
