Claudia MuzioLo Son L'Umilde Ancella (1921)

Muzio was one of the great soprano's of the 20th century and her Edison records were made at the peak of her career. Although Thomas Edison was not very fond of her she made a number of Edison records.

Subject: A little talking.. A little singing..
A bit of a puzzling record. This record, which is quite faint, starts off with a lovely intro, then all of a sudden, a woman speaks in Italian, then starts starts singing. She's a pretty good singer, but it's still rather faint.
