Princess Ida Credits
We found it fascinating to listen to such an early recording.
We noticed an error in the credits, though. The name Harry Morris, should read Harry Norris, we believe. Harry Norris left the company with his wife, Doris (a chorister, I believe) and moved to Montreal, Canada.
The Norrises founded our company, The Montreal West Operatic Society (Canada's Premier G & S Company) in 1939. They also are accredited with the founding of The St. Lambert Choral Society and the Lakeshore Light Opera Company.
To celebrate our 70th anniversary, M.W.O.S is performing Princess Ida on April 23, 24, 25 and May 1, 2 and 3.
