Subject: Unusual show with good acoustic set
This was the show just before a major outdoor gig the next day where we played for something like 4.5 hours. We wanted to save most of the regular chestnuts for the next day. As a result, we have this refreshing set list.

It starts with a strong acoustic set including several rarely performed songs. After that, there's a Lazy Lightning with a killer, lengthy transitional jam going into Supplication.

The second set keeps the "rare" trend going. There's several tracks we didn't play often - Cumberland, New Speedway, Loose Lucy.

There may be no Scarlet Fire or Eyes in this one but I think that only adds to its appeal. The tape sounds great, aside from some minor bass amp malfunctions (Mike's amp was having problems during this period, as evidenced in the next day's show too). We were doing a lot of gigs by this time so the band is in pretty good form as well.

4.5 stars!

Notes

Complete show, opening with 9 song acoustic set
