Subject: A comprehensive guide, well illustrated
Even if one has had disastrous results attempting to carve wood in the past, and swore they would never attempt it again, one might yet rekindle one's ambitions by "leafing" through this admirable book.
It provides rich, progressive instruction for learning how to carve clever and ambitious designs for pleasure and utility, and may well inspire some of us to do something more practical and edifying than staring for hours at cute animal videos on YouTube.
