Subject: Amazing Sound
This is a great recording of Matt Costa Solo, very crisp and definately worth downloading. I saw him open for Jack Johnson Summer of 05 in Bend Oregon and he was awesome. Check this set out!

Subject: I was the taper
A recent reivew of this show popped it to the front page and to the front of my memory banks .. Crap, it was almost a full year ago now that this show happened?! .. crazy. At the time, most of the songs Matt played during this little set at the Moonshine festival had not been recorded. Now his big debut album 'The Songs We Sing' is out and he's blowing up as the opening act for Jack Johnson. He's a great singer / songwriter with a bob-dylan harmonica holder around his neck and a 6 string. He's got some mellow songs, love songs, fast paced ones.. great range, this show is just him solo, and showcases his quirky personality, and it has a great perfect recording quality. the crowd is dead silent, but cheers just the right amount between songs to add that live feel to it. A great matt costa set, grab it and pick up his album!
