pretty damn good
This set seemed to catch a lot of flack at Rothbury last year, but I don't think it deserves it. Mayer is a terrific player, singer, and songwriter, and he kept his Roth performance varied and balanced among his diverse material. Like him or not, he was an essential part of last summer's best festival - and he jams the hell out of Crossroads, too!
