Subject: Agora rules/'I like to dream'
This is a great aud, bassline is clean,John (the taper) found a nice sweet spot here, very even levels. The majority of the crowd would usually be behind the tapers at this venue,so the sound is not walked on at all.I have the fondest of memories of this show.My fav version of Who Do,which usually received a later slot in the evening,Scott and Mark hadn't blown their vocal wads yet,so they were prime to belt this out to epic climax. This night was the 'Rainbow night',when a group of sweetie creeker girls danced through my body in a circle dance,my most exotic Creek experience of the 80s.Yes,through me!..I think the japanese badges were circulating, and the octopus!!!..I remember the tank guy in the lot,as well as the van of crossdressers pranking people...the nfa audience clapping during the first set brought my memories of this night right into focus,as I had just gotten turned on to the Dead in April.Gypsy Blue was in hot rotation these days, and this night saw the alternate version, the slow dark reggae one..Drift Away,to be there for Robs' debut, singing in the audience,yeah,goosebumps...very happy this show circulates!!!!!
Thanks again for uploading these WH Ballroom shows! ("

Subject: Merry Creeksmas
Good show. Very good sound.
I saw Creek numerous times through the 80's, and only once did I see a show I thought was sub-par. Brings back memories of the fella selling nitrous balloons at EVERY Creek show I attended
Worth the download just for the Sugar Mag>Band From Chicago>Magic Carpet>Sunshine Daydream! Band From Chicago brought instantaneous goose bumps.
It's been too long.....
