Subject: Already Been Reviewed Apparently
Although I am very familiar with Mike Doughty, I just came across a review of this show on the washington post. The reviewer is does not seem to know much about Doughty's solo stuff, and compares him more to his labelmate Dave Matthews. Find the review here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/15/AR2005091502377_pf.html
as for my review, havent listened to this one, but from the review it sounds very much like his 9-27 show that is on here. Lots of fun with the new band and some pop covers and Mike's sampling goofiness. Be checking out this show in about 20 mins :)
Thanks as always to Mike Doughty for being so cool with taping! Thanks also to the overly chatty dude standing directly next to my mic stand who kindly moved when i asked. here's to you!
Would somebody please upload this to archive.org? i don't have the patience to jump through the naming convention hoops, but would love to see it there. just leave this text file intact -- yes, including this part -- and credit me, sleepypedro, as the recording maestro behind the bits!
Feel free to convert to mp3 for your portable music device listening pleasure, but if you're going to burn audio CDs or trade this out to others, please only burn from the uncompressed wav files, free for download for all eternity at www.archive.org!
