Subject: Cool tunes
I got wind of this band because the music of one of the songs was used in this time-lapse movie of a commute: http://www.archive.org/details/commute and I really liked it. The Mekons are really rock / accordian / strings / cool ska / punk sound. really cool and the show recording is pretty good. no loud cheering crowd or talkers. Great stuff!

This is the complete set. Johnny Dowd opened. Dowd's drummer, Brian Wilson, filled in very capably for the Mekons, as their own drummer was injured.
