Subject: Tight and Right
The patented Mermen sound is very tight and right on the mark for this show - a musically superior gig with some interesting additions to their regular setlist. Excellent sound recording: cymbal brushes come through nice and clean; & little sign of that 300-500Hz Mud that is often topheavy with live recordings. The Miserlou Medley is Wicked this night; check out the Eastern variation of their Burn opus, & all the rest of the fine licks the band Fire up for this show.
Miserlou>Hava Nageelah>Latina (fast version)>The Victor>Latina>Caravan and Blue Xoam>My Black Bag!!!
