The second album "The Journey" carries on where "Leaving the old world behind" left off. With the first album being some kind of a search for the “right” sound, "The Journey" leads to the direction MARTYR DROID always wanted to go. The idea was to create a sinister and oppressive album while not being overladen. “With simple methods to the destination” – This strategy should have succeeded. The main topic of MARTYR DROID’s work is atmosphere. Organic meets mechanic, light meets darkness. The journey into the depths of the universe has begun and the droids get going. In the emptiness of space pictures and emotions develop, building up an intense high density atmosphere. You could also use the word “sound pictures” here. Anyone who is open-minded, able to dream and to step into the world of "The Journey" will understand this album. It’s the perfect trip in another dark world of sounds. Unique, individual but also innovative in its way. Be open-minded.
