Nice recording and well played show. A band of ringers basically. Bob Weir guitar/Vocals. Bobby Cochran guitar. Tim Bogert bass. Brent Mydland Keyboards/Vocals. Billy Cobham drums / Vocals. Matthew Kelly harmonica/ guitar. Bobby was at the height of his powers during this period.

I saw this band the following night at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT and have had a cassette of that show for over 30 years now. This is virtually the same setlist. The significance of this date? It was the day the Ronald Reagan was elected president. At the Waterbury show, Bobby dedicated Big Iron "to our new President". Thanks for posting this show! Great sound for an audience recording of this era!
