Subject: Where are "flac" archives???
I downloaded all these Minutemen's albums in flac some years ago. Unfortunately they lost. I have to download again. But I remember that then they were in zip or rar archives - big archives. Now they dissapeared, only mp3 archives exist. Why or where are they? It's more comfortable to download 1 archive, not loads of tracks.

Subject: my sincere aplogies...
i uploaded this show as i downloaded from DaD. this is a tremendous recording that i have listened to countless times. i want to make sure they get to the archive when possible so they can be downloaded as much as possible.
i once put the tapers email up and they got really mad at me saying they were getting too much spam as a result. so, much respect for this show!

Subject: credit...
now, i am psyched that all the uploads i've shared in the past have wound up here...i surely don't wanna horde stuff...
Share The Music!
i sure do wish that someone would give an acknowledgement of the time and care put into the transfer of the recordings...
i used Azimuth Correction on the transfer, by the way...
enjoy...
This is the GORGEOUS and VERY RARE Minutemen Folk City West recording. I’ve had it for years, but have only now just digitized it.
This was the minutemen’s first US tour, and first ever appearance in NYC, and they are on FI-YAH! The recording would be an A+ if the vox were just a C.H. higher in the mix…and the show was complete…As it is, the first song cuts in, and the last song cuts. If ya listen really closely to the stage chatter, it seems like The Product was the last song of the set. Only 6 secs of it is here, which hurts, but what’s here is blistering. Watt blows a clam and starts the song in the wrong key, but gets it back in key just in time fer the recording to cut…oh well…
Don’t let that detract ya, silly! Ya got 36 songs that ARE complete! I have only traded this once, on cassette (which means if ya DO have this, however unlikely, it’s probably at least a gen higher than this. This recording has been outta circulation fer a while. I hope ya enjoy.
PLEASE DO NOT SELL!!
PLEASE DO NOT DISSEMINATE IN MP3 FORMAT!!
