Subject: Old school goofy Punk Rock
I was into a lot of hardcore/punk bands back in '85. Mostly Bad Brains, DRI and Black Flag (harder stuff). Minutemen are quirky, but have funny song writing and guitar player can actually play tight cords. check this out, sounds pretty good andyou don't find too many punk bootlegs anymore. Go slam dance with your kids.

Subject: Fantastic
Thanks for the upload. I was at this one and talked to D. for a bit after the show when he was handing out "US Out of Central America" bumper stickers. IIRC, Sorry and the Dicks were on the bill, too.

Subject: Thank You!
Absolutely amazing stuff. This is priceless. The sound is fantastic and the band was on fire for this show. I didn't discover the Minutemen until long after they were gone, and it's just wonderful beyond words that so many good live recordings exist for these guys, in my view one of the top 10 rock bands ever. Many thanks for sharing it.
Another completely uncirculated Minutemen show from Harrison’s archives!!
Do I need to explain that 1st gens are the lowest still known to exist and all that??...well they are, which makes this one the best yer gonna find of this show.
The April of ‘85 shows tend to stick to a similar set list, but a couple of nice surprises like a cool improvisational jam and Watt breaking into “Nervous Breakdown” in the bass solo fer “Mr. Robot…” too.
All of Harrison’s masters were ditched in favor of 1st gen recordings that cut out gaps, breaks, etc. These are the lowest gens still in existence!
Enjoy, but PLEASE!!
Do Not Sell!!
Do Not Disseminate in MP3 Format!!
