Notes
My Morning Jacket opening for Eyes Adrift.
First out of three recordings in the Magnix My Morning Jacket Live Recordings Archive of MMJ's 9-date tour with Eyes Adrift (w/ Curt Kirkwood of The Meat Puppets, Krist Noveselic of Nirvana, and Bud Gaugh from Sublime) between January 28 to February 7, 2002.
Almost completely different set compared to the following night of which a recording is available as well.
Received this recording from another trader somewhere in the Summer of 2003. We already got in touch a year before, but due to various reasons on both sides a trade only came through later on. No more than listed is known on this recording. It is however a very good one. No corrections have been applied, except for an adjusted fade in and out.
Used software:
EAC, CoolEditPro (for fading), and FLAC v1.1.2 as build in Traders Little Helper v1.1.1 (build 90).

Core Sound Binaural Mics w/Bass Roll Off Filter clipped to eyeglasses into a Sony D7 DAT 48k/16bit. That got transfered via Digital (Toslink) to Cool Edit Pro 2.1 where EQ, Fades, and tracks were added.
Any audio manipulation to the CDR that I sourced is in addition to what I've stated above.
I was right up near the stage, less that 3 ft directly in front of the drums. That is why the vocals are low, I was actually in front of the PA and a lot of the sound is direct from stage.
After listening to a few other shows from this tour, I feel this show has a really great feel/groove. Other shows seem sloppy and/or hurried. Maybe I'm just biased.
