This show was also 'aired' live as a webcast by Digital Club Network. Back then I captured the sound of that webcast through my soundcard, and made a CD-R of it. Because it's lossy sourced, and we have this audience recording, I will only upload the latter. Thanks goes out to Tim L. and Shawn K. for getting this very nice recording out to me! The exact source and linage are unknown. I got my disc from Shawn back in June 2003, and he got it from Tim. However, from George "Low Dog" S. I learned that the taper is David S.
The poet of the poem recited at the start of this show, Thax Douglas, is a regular at Chicago club shows... It's a long tradition that he gets up on stage and recites a poem he's written about a band he likes. He's a local Chicago legend. An interview with Thax can be found at Glorious Noise (http://www.gloriousnoise.com/arch/000837.php).
Used software:
EAC v0.95b4, Cool Edit Pro v2.0 (for fades at the start and end of the recording only), and FLAC v1.1.2 as build in Traders Little Helper v1.1.1 (build 90).
