Subject: The Factory 12.01.06
This show at the factory was surreal.
Unfortunately the file titled At Dawn is just Jim James' hilarious speech and not the actual song, which to me was the highlight of that evening.
These guys are brilliant and deserve far more props then what they get.

Subject: Great Stuff!
A buddy of mine gave me "Okonokos" on CD for Christmas and I bought the DVD. It is amazing!
This show is just as good! MMJ is emerging quickly and they are on top of their game! Get this and enjoy the great music.

Subject: The Way That He Sings!
Great F---ing Show! I stood by a couple of tapers near the soundboard through the first half of the show up until "At Dawn", but me and my buddy were able to fenagle [sic] our way to near the front. I really really think that I'm the guy you hear yelling THE WAY THAT HE SINGS! right before "The Way That He Sings", because of 2 reasons. 1. I know my own voice when I hear it (even though at that point I was already kinda hoarse) and 2. I remember yelling that particular song title at that particular time (I was able to catch a glimpse of the setlist at the soundboard).
All around good show. My only qualms were the soundboard couldn't control that bass feedback throughout the first set, and Bo screwed up his voice sampler cue on 'Wordless Chorus'.
Also, Me and my buddy got stuck in a bad moshpit during 'Dancefloors' and he lost his glasses which eventually got stepped on. So during Magheetah, I got a bunch of people around me to help me find them, which was really cool. At least MMJ fans look out for their own. Unfortunately, my friend was pretty much blind for the rest of the show.
But we still dug it. And we hope to catch MMJ next time they come through Philly. Hopefully my friend's vision will fare a little better next time around.

Subject: The Evolution of a Band
This was my third time seeing the boys, and it was pretty obvious that they have taken the leap to a whole new level. They were spot-on the whole night. It was great to see them at this stage of the game.
